For SAIL Amsterdam, we were asked to develop a creative concept for two of their partners: Heineken and Verpact. This led to the idea of the Drijf-in (Drive-in): “drijf” in Dutch means “floating”, so it’s a play on words combining floating and drive-in. The Drijf-in is a unique floating street where visitors could first deposit their waste and then enjoy a refreshing drink.
We joined forces with The Good Guyz for the technical realisation, resulting in a striking eye-catcher: a floating installation that everyone at SAIL was talking about. Imagine beautiful Amsterdam canal houses, floating right in the middle of the IJ; a spectacular sight.
For this project, we took on the coordination between the designer and the technical teams, and also handled all the necessary print work and production to bring this unique concept to life.
